What is covered under the extended warranty plans?

  • Defects in materials and workmanship of the electronic shelf labels and wireless communicators.
  • 5-year and 8-year extended warranty plans cover accidental damage, including liquid intrusion, humidity-related failures, and damage from shopping carts.

What isn't covered under the extended warranty plans?

  • Defects covered by the one-year manufacturer’s warranty.
  • Adaptor rails, accessories, clips, PDAs, cosmetic damage, and changes or enhancements to the ESLs or wireless communicator.
  • Abuse, misuse, intentional acts, or force majeure.
  • Unauthorized modifications or repairs.

  • Failure caused by the customer’s computer viruses or cybersecurity incidents.

Are there any fees when I make a warranty claim?

All costs associated with service, parts, and labour are covered under the warranty plan. However, shipping & handling costs apply.

When does my warranty take effect?

Warranty begins on the day the system is deployed or activated. In other words, it’s the start date of your software subscription.

How do I submit a warranty claim?

If you are experiencing any issues with the ESL or wireless communicator associated with the system, please contact [email protected] to start a warranty application.

How do I package and ship warrantied items?

Use original ATI packaging or equivalent to ship products to ATI.  Be sure to write the RMA number legibly on the outside of the box.

Who pays for shipping?

 Items to be repaired or replaced under warranty will be returned to ATI at the customer’s expense.  Repairs or replacements covered by warranty (as reasonably determined by ATI) will be shipped back to the customer at their expense.  

When will my repaired or replaced items covered under warranty ship?

Subject to material availability, repairs or replacements covered by the warranty will be carried out within 15 days of receipt of the product.  Repair of items not covered by warranty will be by an estimate approved by the customer before repair or replacement begins.  The estimate will contain costs of repairs and replacements, as well as the expected time frame of completion.

Terms & Conditions

These Limited Warranty Terms and Conditions (“Warranty”) are provided by ATI Apollo Techné Inc (“Company”) and apply to the purchase and use of Company-supplied Electronic Shelf Labels (ESLs) and associated devices that form the solution.
1. Warranty Coverage
This Limited Warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of:
  • 1-Year Limited Warranty “Basic”: Applicable to ESLs and wireless communicators and is included in the purchase price.
  • 3-Year Limited Warranty “Protect”: Applicable to ESLs and wireless communicators purchased with a 3-year warranty plan.
  • 5-Year Limited Warranty “Advantage”: Applicable to ESLs and wireless communicators purchased with a 5-year warranty plan.
  • 8-Year Limited Warranty “Endurance”: Applicable to ESLs and wireless communicators purchased with an 8-year warranty plan.
The warranty period begins on the date of shipment from the Company, unless otherwise specified in writing. Repair or replacement eligibility is determined at the time of claim approval. In select areas, claim approval time is based on the availability of parts‌ and technician availability. 
2. What Is Covered
During the applicable warranty period, the Company will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace any ESLs or wireless communicators that:
  • Fails to operate under normal usage conditions
  • Contains defects in materials or workmanship
3. What Is Not Covered
This Warranty does not cover:
  • Damage due to misuse, abuse, neglect, accident, vandalism, fire, flood, lightning, or other natural disasters
  • Improper installation, unauthorized modifications, or repairs by non-approved personnel
  • Normal wear and tear, including degradation of e-paper displays over time
  • Damage caused by exposure to environmental conditions beyond the ESL’s IP rating (e.g., excessive heat, moisture, dust)
  • Consumables such as batteries, unless explicitly covered by the 5-year and 8-year warranty
4. Warranty Service Process
To obtain warranty service, the customer must:
  1. Contact the Company’s support team at [email protected]
  2. Provide proof of purchase, the ESL’s serial number(s), photo and a description of the issue
  3. Ship the defective product to the Company or authorized service provider, if requested (shipping costs may be borne by the customer)
The Company will inspect the product and, if a defect is confirmed under this Warranty, will repair or replace the ESL at no additional cost to the customer.
5. Replacement Policy
  • Replacement ESLs or wireless communicators may be new, refurbished, or functionally equivalent to the original.
  • Any replacement ESL or wireless communicatpor is warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period or 90 days from the date of replacement, whichever is longer.
6. Limitations of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
  • This Warranty is the sole and exclusive remedy for ESL or wireless communicator defects.
  • The Company is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of business, revenue, or data, arising out of the use or inability to use the ESLs.
  • The Company’s total liability shall not exceed the purchase price paid for the defective product.
7. Transferability
This Warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser of the ESLs from the Company or its authorized resellers.
  1. Governing Law
This Warranty shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
